A few days ago i had an acquaintance with an amazing person on Twitter, as usual i tried to Thank all my new followers out there and i got a kind reply back from Nisha Varghese, also known as @Nisha360, turns out to be that Nisha was the initiator of a Wonderful Cause she began back in March 2010. She named it the Clean Water For All Campaign.
I’d first like to Thank Nisha for giving me this amazing opportunity to support this cause.
Nisha’s 20 years old, at the age of six months she was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy (CP) and then later at the tender age of 13 she was diagnosed with advanced Scoliosis. She went through many hardships, but with an amazing heart, she has reached out her hand to those who need it the most.
A truly most admirable and inspiring act of kindness. Her initial attempt to raise money for UNICEF didn’t go as expected, but by her incredible spirit she never gave up and then stumbled upon The Water Project. The Water Project Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that’s bringing relief to communities around the world who suffer needlessly from a lack of access to clean water, and through her research she found out something that touched her heart deeply and determined her to move ahead with creating a Cause for it, she had read : Every 20 seconds, a child dies from a water-related disease and if you, like me cannot live with that statistic then click on the ‘Donate’ button and donate whatever you can because at the end of the day no act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.
These children and people do not have a proper supply of clean water, the water that they drink is infested with different types of harmful sediments and microbes.
And there are millions of people like that who either fall sick regularly, have long term effects on their health or suffer a fatality.
Nisha has taken a huge step in providing support for so many unfortunate lives living there who are suffering the harmful effects of the contaminated water.
She’s inspired and motivated to take the step after watching a guest Kendall Ciesemier at The Oprah Winfrey Show and it was Oprah Winfrey special on the AIDS epidemic in Africa. Kendall took all the money that she had, put it in Kendall founded an organization called Kids Caring 4 Kids – an organization which aims to raise awareness and money for AIDS orphans and other highly venerable kids in Africa and to inspire kids to care for others in need. And after a span of rough times, she flashed back on what she had seen on the show Kendall’s story taught her that to change her reality all she had to do is shift her perception and that is something she holds and says would carry with her for the rest of life.
She then tried to raise $1000 for UNICEF but unfortunately was able to raise only $5, but by her amazing spirit, strength and courage, she took her experience as a learning and started once more, with her Clean Water for All Campaign on the 5th of March 2010
The objectives of the campaign are as follows:
- To raise $6 500 for The Water Project, Inc – an organization that provides clean water to communities all over the world who suffer needlessly without it – by March 5th 2012 and build a well somewhere in the world.
- To highlight the plight of those who don’t have easy access to clean water.
- To prove to the world that anybody can make a difference and change the world – even she: a twenty-year-old girl in a wheelchair.

You can also make a difference, an amount that you give, will become a blessing for someone, their happiness, a way to live a better life, and whenever you give something, anything at all, it comes back in multiple folds and from ways & paths you couldn’t even think about or imagine. Those drops of clean water can save someone’s life, it may be someone’s child, someone’s sibling, someone’s parents, anyone at all.
Giving not only gives happiness & brings a smile on the people who receive it, but also to those who give it, makes the person’s heart happy & fill it with kindness and compassion for all.
Thank you so much once again Nisha for giving me this incredible opportunity to support this great cause. I pray with all my heart and hope that you collect all the amount that you need for this amazing cause. And remember folks, the Campaign ends on the 5th of March 2012.
